In her new series “unten im garten” (“down in the garden”), the artist Petra Lupe devotes herself entirely to the landscape of the human soul as a tribute to the fragile connection between inner and outer worlds.
While her previous work was largely dominated by monochrome shades of gray, Lupe’s new works are now characterised by colour.
The exhibition at Galerie Dantendorfer represents a decisive turning point in the artist’s creative journey and marks the beginning of a path she has long envisioned and yearned for—by following an inner urge toward colour that can no longer be restrained.
The exhibition is an invitation for the viewer to immerse themselves in:
_ something quiet and loud
_ something wild and calm
_ something wounded and strong
_ and, in any case, something chaotic
_ but always a COLOUR guided by subjective order!
