About Us
Galerie Dantendorfer was founded in 2021. Since January 2025, the gallery has been run by the second generation—bringing a fresh perspective while remaining true to the original founding idea: not only to present art, but to make it an experience.
The gallery sees itself as a place of discovery and dialogue. It is not the obvious, but the unknown that connects the artists we work with.
Our focus is on contemporary Austrian and European art with an independent, multimedia visual language—ranging from painting and sculpture to performance, installation, and experimental forms of expression.
At the core is an inclusive program that promotes diversity and creates space for artistic visions that question existing boundaries and open up new perspectives.
A special feature of our gallery is the integrated studio—currently used by Christine Mayr —which can be visited by appointment. It is a vibrant place of creation that fosters closeness and exchange between artists and the public.
